TERMS
The rules for using PrepDrop.
Effective July 29, 2026
These Terms govern access to PrepDrop. By creating a family account, the parent or legal guardian agrees to them for the family.
Eligibility and family accounts
A parent or legal guardian must create and control the family account. Children use Kid spaces created by that adult and may not create an email-based parent account for themselves. The account owner is responsible for accurate information, appropriate permission to use the service, and keeping family credentials secure.
The service
PrepDrop is a study aid that transforms material supplied by a family into proposed study items, optional lessons, and practice activities. It records study activity for the student and parent. PrepDrop is not a school record system, grading authority, tutoring guarantee, or substitute for a teacher, textbook, or qualified professional.
Your material and permission to process it
You keep ownership of material you provide. You grant PrepDrop a limited permission to host, copy, extract, transform, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. You confirm that you have the right to provide it and will not intentionally upload unnecessary sensitive information, malware, or unlawful material.
Generated material
Generated study items and lessons can be incomplete or incorrect. PrepDrop presents study items for review before confirmation. Students and parents remain responsible for comparing generated material with the original source and correcting mistakes. Generated content should not be treated as an official answer key or professional advice.
Acceptable use
- Do not access or attempt to access another family's account or data.
- Do not upload malware, unlawful content, or material you do not have permission to use.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, probe, bypass, or disrupt the service or its safeguards.
- Do not use PrepDrop to contact, profile, advertise to, or exploit children.
- Do not share a Kid-space credential outside the family or use another person's account.
Availability and changes
PrepDrop may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or events outside our control. Features may change as the service improves. When a material change affects saved family data, account access, or paid terms, PrepDrop will provide reasonable notice to the parent account owner.
Suspension and account closure
A parent may stop using PrepDrop and request deletion through the contact form. PrepDrop may restrict or suspend access to protect a child, another family, the service, or the public; investigate abuse; comply with law; or respond to a material breach of these Terms.
Paid plans
PrepDrop offers a free tier and an optional PrepDrop Family subscription. Free families receive up to three completed PrepDrops and up to two child profiles. PrepDrop Family includes unlimited PrepDrops, up to six child profiles, and full study history. Current pricing is shown on the pricing page before checkout when billing is enabled. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through the billing portal or as described at purchase. Refunds follow the policy shown at checkout and applicable law.
Disclaimers
PrepDrop is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, PrepDrop does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect extraction, error-free generated material, a particular grade, or a particular learning outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits a right that cannot legally be limited.
