PrepDrop does not place an AI assistant, chatbot, or open-ended answer tool inside the student experience.
The public demo uses sample material. Processing real student uploads is not live yet.
What the processing does
When private uploads launch, PrepDrop will use a server-side language model as a narrow processing tool. It will take the school material the student provides and organize it into proposed questions, answers, and study items. The model will not chat with the student, browse freely, make decisions about the child, or introduce an AI character into the product.
The student stays in control
- The student provides material for a Study Drop.
- PrepDrop extracts only the content needed for that request.
- The processing service returns proposed structured study items.
- The student reviews, edits, adds, removes, and confirms those items.
- Only the confirmed set can enter Flip It, Quiz It, Type It, or Match It.
A generated item can be incomplete or wrong. Nothing should move silently into a study round.
What is not sent
Parent passwords, child sign-in secrets, unrelated family information, and advertising identifiers are not part of a study-material request. PrepDrop sends the minimum content needed for the selected Study Drop.
Provider review
Before real uploads launch, PrepDrop will publish the provider, retention and training settings, applicable data-processing terms, and relevant subprocessors. Those details are still under technical and legal review.
